Democratic Party (DP) leader Sarath Fonseka has urged the United National Party (UNP) Acting Leader Karu Jayasuriya to convene a gathering of opposition parliamentarians and diplomats over the violation of Human Rights during the recent incident in Hambantota where MPs were assaulted. The DP leader has urged to hold such a gathering as soon as the Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe returns to the island
